Our stainless steel Mate/Bombilla straw works with any of our loose leaf tea. An eco-friendly, reusable choice, it eliminates the need for an infuser. After the tea has cooled to the desired temperature, sip through the straw, which also serves as a filter. Bombilla straws were originally designed for yerba mate, created from the hollowed stalks of bamboo cane by the Guarani people of South America. Then were later designed with metals.
Cleaning Instructions: Place in a mason jar of hot water and add a 1 tsp. distilled white vinegar. Allow to soak for 20 minutes.
